Fajro – Lost in Japan

Dutch producer Fajro, of whom I had previously never heard, came to my attention the other day with a flip of Shawn Mendes and Zedd’s tune Lost In Japan, and something I love about writing at The Music Elk is being able to bring new artists to your attention.

Taking Shawn’s beautifully edited vocals with the backing chord layers, Fajro has repurposed the track into a vibey future funk anthem with smooth synths, laid-back percussion and a groovy bass. Definitely worth a listen!
