Joey Rumble, owner of Fated Records, is an Amsterdam based music producer and DJ known for his origins in future house and more recently bass house and other variations in the house scene. You may have seen his name in previous articles where we featured Fated releases Pamuya (by Our Psych) and the Ignite EP, but now he has got his own spot on The Music Elk with an official remix for Indonesian sensation Agnez Mo and American pop star Chris Brown’s new track Overdose.
Rumble has had many successful releases, several on Trap Nation’s Lowly House imprint, an original released on Armada Deep, and releases on his own label as well, and has also picked up support from YouTube giants xKito, Diversity and House Nation to name but a few, so the quality of this new remix is no surprise.
Joey has flipped the original into a quicker setting, using the recognisable house M1 organ sound in a more poppy, driven context to where you might be used to seeing it in Deep House, in order to create an uplifting dance track. It may be a marginally more commercial sound than what we are used to from the Dutch producer, but the appeal of the remix is still huge, check it out!
