Malaysian bass producer N Riotz has crafted a unique future-bass interpretation of a popular rap song. The remix of Juice WRLD’s “Empty,” released Wednesday to the producer’s 4,000+ Soundcloud followers, features thick, luscious chord stabs and powerful vocal chops and guitar samples.
N Riotz, who’s real name is Nicolas Lim, is likely trying to piggy-back off of the success of the original track, which reached upwards of fifteen million streams in just the few months since its release. The remixer may just get his wish, with his “future bass” remix offering up a noticeable but seamless contrast to the “emo rap” style of the original. N Riotz’s energy filled remix adds new flavors to Juice WRLD’s “Empty.”
