In December American record producer and songwriter Benny Blanco dropped huge collaboration Roses with Juice WRLD, known for his original “Lucid Dreams” and Brendon Urie, Panic! At The Disco front man. Dutch producer Arcando continues his 2019 campaign with a huge remix of Roses, after a stellar 2018 which saw him garner millions of streams and first release last week.

Arcando’s interpretation utilises Juice WRLD’s vocals and Blanco’s original Trap beat, proceeding into suspenseful buildup where we start to hear his influence, dropping into a huge Future Bass & Trap hybrid chorus, with a hefty, gritty bass, vocal chops over the top and quick hats and percussion sprinkled throughout; but the drop leaves us craving more. In the latter stages, Arcando adds in arcade-reminiscent arps that sit beautifully over the second drop finishing off a track that kicks off the year perfectly.

Marc Bandecchi aka Arcando has had one of his best years to date last year, with releases on Enhanced, Revealed Recordings and Trap Nation just to name a few. Arcando returns in the new year with a bang! Taking on R3HAB and Sofia Carson hit single “RUMOURS”

Taking this heavyweight release under his belt, Arcando has made something spectacular. Making this release unique by adding Aggressive synths and real instruments, this gives the song a completely different vibe to the original. Even if you don’t like EDM this track will defiantly take your fancy.

This week we have a special guest Marc Bandecchi ! Find out more below  !

Who are you and what’s your background?

My name is Marc Bandecchi, I live in The Netherlands but my dad is from Italy, which basically makes me half Italian as well. I got the music vibe from my dad who used to play in a band when he was younger.
So when I was 4 years old I got my first guitar and that’s how I started to know and like music.

What does your job consist of on a day to day basis?

So right now I’m actually a student at the Conservatory in Haarlem, a well-known music school where you can study e-music and improve your productions and dj skills and learn more about the theory and other aspects of music (like commercials, games and movies). Other than that I make music daily and try to stay active on social media (posting on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) and connect with other artists to eventually collaborate.

What are your biggest achievements to date?

My biggest achievements to date are of course the Trap Nation release/upload of my remix for The Chainsmokers and my single ‘No More’. Also one of the biggest YouTubers in the world, DudePerfect, has recently used my single ‘Walking On Fire’ in one of their YouTube videos, which has got over 17 million views in less than 3 weeks!

Any tips and tricks that you wish you knew when you started?

Best tips and tricks are by far to connect with new people and to make loads of songs to send to labels. I used to always be afraid of what to write and how I would react if a DJ/Producer wasn’t replying or giving me short or negative feedback on one of my songs. At the end, it’s super important to let everyone know you’re there, make sure you contact blogs, YouTube channels and Labels and try to convince them that your music is the best. So don’t be scared of sending your music to others, eventually it will pay off.

For the readers looking to pursue a career in your field, do you have any advice for them?

My advice is to be patient. Don’t only look at what the other artists do on social media. Try not to think that others are better than you in whatever way (social life, production life). I always say, your time will come, it doesn’t matter if it will happen today or in one year time! If you work hard and promote your music and talent, sooner or later they will notice you and, yet again, it will be worthwhile.

How do you overcome days where you have no motivation?

This question is a hard one to answer. When I have no motivation I tend to get out, go to see my girlfriend or meet my friends. Watching a movie is also something that can clear your mind. It is also super important not to be stuck in the studio 24/7, and make sure your mind gets enough rest.

Any upcoming stuff you would like to announce to the readers?

I have a new follow up single with MenEnd ready for release. Last year we worked together on our single ‘Is It Possible’, which was successfully published by Enhanced Music. This second song will come out in July and what will come after… well, that will be a surprise + deffo teasing that EP, which will drop, sooner or later ;).
